Decimal place rounding refers to the process of reducing the number of digits to the right of the decimal point in a number, according to specific rounding rules. This is commonly used in mathematics, science, engineering, and finance to simplify figures or conform to required precision standards.
Bustle's Finance module rounds to two decimal places, using the third decimal to either round up or round down.
For example:
11.244 will round to 11.24
11.246 will round to 11.25
11.245 will round to 11.25
We understand that certain systems integrated with Bustle—especially some ERP platforms—may apply different rounding rules, particularly at the fourth, fifth, or sixth decimal places. If your business requires specific rounding behaviour, please consult your Project or Account Manager to explore available options
