Monthly Chargeable Users - Billing Logic

Bustle invoices customers once per month, including a Monthly Service charge and a fee for Active Users. Payments are due by the end of the current month.

Customers are billed in the Current Month, for the Upcoming Month, based on the Previous Month's User Activity.

A user is considered active under the following conditions:

1. The user signs in to Bustle during the current month.
2. A subcontractor assigns your job to their driver (Cross Organisation Active User).

A Cross Organisation Active User involves Customer-Subcontractor relationships, where an additional charge is applied for subcontractors assigning jobs to their driver-based users.

The following tables highlight various scenarios and demonstrates what is considered to be billable.

Scenario 1.

In this scenario, user "Luke" remains active through the months of December, January, February and March. Each month, "Luke" will be billed for the upcoming months access, payable in the current month, for next months Bustle use, based being active in the previous month.

In this scenario, user "Mark" is Active in December, so the January invoice will have a usage charge for February. 

Mark finishes work part way through January, so the February Invoice will have a usage charge for March.  

There is no log in activity in February for Mark and so the March invoice does not have a usage charge for April.

Roman has not been deactivated by your Organisation, however he has not logged in to your Organisation.  As there is no activity month on month, the Bustle invoice will not have a usage charge for the following month for Roman.

Mary starts working for your organization in January. The February invoice includes a usage charge for March, based on Mary's login activity in January. There is no charge for Mary accessing Bustle for the remainder of January or for the month of February. 

Note:

1. To prevent staff no longer with your business from signing in to Bustle, it is recommended to Deactivate the User Login once the staff member completes their employment with your business.

2. Cross Organisation Users are billed only when a job in the current month is assigned by a Subcontractor to execute the job. You will not be billed in the current month for Subcontractor drivers that were not assigned jobs.
