How to create a consignment?

  1. Click on the option ‘Jobs’ from the left navigation bar.

  2. Locate the option ‘Create Consignment’ and click on itA job booking form will appear on the screen.

  3. Click on the drop-down list ‘Movement’. Select the movement for the intended job in the booking form.

  4. Click on the drop-down list ‘Select Customer’. Select a particular customer if the customer exists in the drop-down list.

  5. Click on the drop-down list ‘Service Type’. Select one of the services from the drop-down list.

  6. Click on the field ‘Pickup Date’. A calendar view will populate, requiring to select the intended pickup date.

  7. Click on the field ‘Available Time’. Select the intended time for the pickup date.

  8. Select the checkboxes ‘Send Freight Label’, ‘Delivering into Depot’, or ‘Has inforwarding’ as per the requirement of the job or the movement type.

  9. Locate the section ‘Sender’ in the booking form. It consists of multiple text fields requiring different details about the sender of a package.

  10. The text fields under the section of ‘Sender’ can either be filled in manually by simply typing in the details, or there are two icons located on the left side of the form to automatically import data into these fields.

  11. If the sender has special requirements, then at the end of the section ‘Sender’, please locate the text field defined as ‘Special Requirements’. Please enter any special requirements, if there are any.

  12. On the top right side of the screen, there are multiple text fields ‘Purchase Order’, ’TRF’, ‘Black Reference’, and ‘Delivery Instruction’. Select and enter details into the text fields, if required.

  13. Locate the drop-down list ‘Select A Destination’ and click on the drop-down list to select the destination for the package.

  14. Locate a text field as ‘Trailer Type / Loading Requirements’ to enter specific trailer type requirements.

  15. Select the calendar view ‘Due Date’ to select the arrival date of the consignment. Select the ‘Due Time’ from the drop-down list for the arrival time of the package.

  16. Locate the section ‘Receiver’. It consists of multiple checkboxes ‘Send Dispatch Notification’, ‘Send POD when completed’ or ‘Collecting from Depot’. Select these checkboxes as per the job requirements.

  17. There are multiple input text fields under the section of ‘Receiver’.  The text fields under the section of ‘Receiver’ can either be filled in manually by simply typing in the details, or there are two icons located on the left side of the form to automatically import data into these fields.

  18. If the receiver has special requirements, then at the end of the section ‘Receiver’, please locate the text field ‘Special Requirements’. Please enter any special requirements, if there are any.

  19. At the bottom of the booking form, there are different text fields ‘Count’, ’Pallets’, ‘Spaces’, ‘Purchase Order’, ‘Item’ and ‘Total Weight’. These are dimensions of the package.

  20. There are additional checkbox fields located at the bottom of the form requiring data relevant to the package.

  21. If there are multiple packages, please click on the button ‘Add Package’. A new section will populate requiring the dimensions of the package.

  22. Locate the text fields ‘Notes for Job’ and ‘Notes for Invoice’ at the end of the booking form. Enter data into these fields if required.

  23. Please click on the button ‘Create Consignment’.
