Once the driver has started work, they’ll have the option to Start Break or Start Rest.
Both Break and Rest periods will align with the driver’s selected rule set, ensuring compliance with fatigue regulations.
To start a break, the driver can:
Tap "Start Break" from the Fatigue (EWD) Main Menu screen (as shown below), or
Select "Start Break" from the Graphical View.

The start break screen requires the vehicle odometer and current location. If the drivers GPS is functioning correctly with appropriate permissions, the EWD module will detect the drivers current location as seen below:
The Graphical view will then change to show the driver is now on Break, with the applicable Rule set for the required break time displayed visually for the driver:
The EWD Main Menu will also reflect the driver is on Break, allowing the "Start Work" option and hiding the non applicable buttons:
This allows drivers to easily log their required rest times as part of their required compliance routine.
